GENERATOR CONNECTION SOLUTIONS

Modular Generator Connection & Combiner Boards
This design combines generator connection points, isolation, and paralleling capabilities into a modular platform that scales with your project requirements.
Each module is rated up to 500 kW at 480V and can be stacked to combine multiple generator inputs into a single high-ampacity load. The modular architecture allows systems to be expanded, reconfigured, or deployed in phases as project needs evolve.

Generator Switchboards with Integrated Cam-Lok Connections & Breaker Protection
PowerStream Solutions designs and manufactures UL 891 low-voltage switchboards with integrated Cam-Lok connections and circuit breaker protection, providing a flexible, safe, and efficient solution for temporary and permanent power applications.
Engineered around each customer's application, our switchboards can be configured with Cam-Lok inputs and outputs, traditional lug landings, or a combination of both. Dual-output configurations provide the flexibility to utilize Cam-Lok connections and hardwired lug terminations within the same switchboard, supporting multiple connection methods and evolving operational requirements.
With integrated circuit breaker protection, these solutions combine power distribution, overcurrent protection, and flexible connectivity into a single, purpose-built assembly. Ideal for generator connections, temporary power, commissioning, maintenance bypass, and emergency power applications, PowerStream's designs simplify field connections while reducing equipment footprint and installation complexity.
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about our products, process, and service.
Generator Combiner Boards are modular systems designed for temporary power deployment, generator connection, and generator combining applications. Generator Switchboards utilize UL891 switchboard construction and are typically selected when additional protection, distribution, metering, or operational flexibility is required.
Both. Systems can be configured for a single generator connection point or multiple generators feeding a common load. Modular Generator Combiner Boards can be expanded as power requirements evolve.
Each combiner board is built using standardized modules that can be added, removed, or reconfigured in the field or factory. This allows capacity to grow alongside project requirements without replacing the entire system.
Yes. The modular architecture allows additional generator inputs and capacity to be incorporated as operational requirements change, making the platform ideal for temporary power fleets and evolving facilities.
Yes. Both Generator Combiner Boards and Generator Switchboards can be configured with color-coded camlock connections to simplify temporary generator deployment and field installation.
Yes. Depending on the application, systems can be configured with camlock connections, hardwired lug landings, distribution breakers, or hybrid configurations that combine multiple connection methods within the same lineup.
Yes. NEMA 3R configurations are available for outdoor applications and harsh environmental conditions.
Absolutely. While our Generator Combiner Boards and Generator Switchboards address most temporary power and generator connection applications, every project is unique. PowerStream can engineer custom solutions tailored to your operational, electrical, and space requirements. Whenever possible, we leverage proven elements from our modular combiner and switchboard platforms to accelerate engineering, simplify manufacturing, and reduce project risk.
